I'm not crazy about this song. It seems like a throw away to me. Something he had to do to wrap the movie. It got totally trashed by one reviewer. Really harsh! I don't hate the song. I know all the words. I just don't think his heart was in it. I am not sure his heart is in anything anymore. He seems pretty burnt out. He needs to take some Kenny time for real! I have been listening to thge song closely on the radio and my ipod. There is one part that really make me laugh! Right near the beginning after he talks about his gig at the Amvet her goes "Yeah" real low. I love it! I love his voice anyhow and how he sometimes "talks" during a song rather than singing. That's what the little "yeah" is. Anyone else notice it?

I found a link to the video (other than the CMT one...) and I like it! Although it looks a bit like an overlong commercial for the movie...

that reviewer really didn't like the song! it isn't one of my favorites either, too much rock, not enough island or country sounds either but, I'll always listen to Kenny no matter what

Everytime I hear this song, I think it sounds awfully like "Young" in melody and tone.

I think you're right Jeff. And I think that was the intent. I think he told Cody that in his interview recently....Not sure but I heard him say it to somoene....

Yeah, same here. I like the song, but I feel like his heart isn't in it completely...I don't know, I can't put my finger on it what makes me feel that way...Maybe it's just me. I haven't tried the comparison between this song and Young yet.

I so agree - I can't quite figure it out either but it just seems to be missing something - it's almost like he's trying too hard; I don't know, maybe I'll figure it out; I just know it isn't one of those songs that the first time I heard it I loved it and I've felt that way about a lot of Kenny's songs, but not this one.
