According to Billboard, Kenny Chesney bested one of the top touring acts in the world last week:

The country superstar scored the highest-grossing tour last week, according to Billboard, bringing in more than $6.5 million in revenue. His impressive earnings top No. 2 ranked Lady Gaga by almost $1 million. The Allman Brothers Band came in third, with more than $3.5 million. Neil Young places a distant fourth, with just over $680,000, and Widespread Panic came in fifth, earning just slightly less than Neil.

Kenny’s soaring income for last week is due in part to performing the second of his nine stadium shows schedule. ‘The Boys of Fall’ singer performed at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 16, raking in more than $4 million for the show. The Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker all joined him for the night, entertaining the crowd of 46,551 fans.

It’s rare that Kenny Chesney plays the same venue twice in one year, and three times is nearly unheard of. But Chesney has added a third show at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado.

After the first sold out in mere minutes, Kenny Chesney has added a second show on Thursday, July 7th at the unique Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver, Colorado. The first show will be held on Wednesday, July 6th.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 1st through LiveNation. Presale tickets for Fan Club members will likely go on sale the Tuesday before (March 29th).

Your worry is over Chicago fans… it was announced this morning that Kenny Chesney will return to Chicago this summer, but not at Soldier Field or Tinley Park.

Chesney will perform at Toyota Park in Bridgeview on Thursday, June 9th.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 25th.

The 2nd Annual Capital Hoedown has just announced its lineup for this summer, and Kenny Chesney leads the bill.

Other artists performing at the festival in Ottawa include Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Doc Walker, Sara Evans, Billy Currington, Tara Oram, Easton Corbin, Justin Moore and The Keats. Additional artists will be added to this historic and exciting program as the festival approaches.

The event runs from August 11th – 13th. Kenny is scheduled to perform on Thursday the 11th.

3-day general admission passports are $175, and a limited number of single day tickets will be made available for $75 for each individual day.
