ACM Presents: Lionel Richie and Friends – A Lifetime Of Hits, is an all-star concert special to be taped Monday, April 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to air later on CBS. This country collaboration with the legendary Lionel Richie, featuring duets from his upcoming album Tuskeegee, will include some of Richie’s greatest hits performed by Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers and many more. Ticket sales will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, which works to improve lives through music.

Chesney did a similar event in 2010 for Brooks and Dunn.

A release date has not yet been set for Richie’s Tuskegee album, but you can pre-order now at Amazon.com. Chesney and Richie sing “My Love” on the album.

The ACM Awards will air live Sunday, April 1st. Nominations have not yet been announced.

Chesney was presented with his award by his good friend, Saints coach Sean Payton, and also by former St Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa.

It was a night full of cross-pollinated moments, with host Rob Lowe, Lionel Richie, William Shatner, Joe Walsh, Gavin DeGraw, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, former St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, The Avett Brothers and The All-American Rejects on hand to celebrate country’s biggest entertainers. But it was Hank Williams Jr. who turned in the night’s most buzzed about moment, leaving the stage quickly mid-song after singing his part during a duet with Aldean.

The 90-minute special will premier Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

Some of the most exciting performances from the sold-out iHeartRadio Music Festival will premiere in High Definition November 23 at 10p/9c on VH1. The concert event will feature Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney, The Black Eyed Peas, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Jane’s Addiction, Nicki Minaj and collaborations from Sting and Jeff Beck.

High-profile duets featuring newcomer Grace Potter teaming with Kenny Chesney, and Natasha Bedingfield, performing with Rascal Flatts, have been added to the lineup of live performances scheduled for the 45th Annual CMA Awards broadcast in November.

Bedingfield will team with Rascal Flatts to perform their current single, “Easy.” Potter is a first-time nominee for her duet with four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney on “You and Tequila,” which is nominated for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year. Chesney is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year.

Previously announced performers include Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood.

State Farm is debuting the commercial leading up to the fifth annual National Teen Driver Safety Week, October 16 – 22, 2011. The week is dedicated to raising awareness about the tragedy of teen vehicle crashes, the leading cause of death for young people in the U.S., and is meant to spark communication among teenagers, parents, educators and civic leaders about the causes of and solutions to teen crashes.

“Teen car crashes affect all who share our roads,” said Laurette Stiles, Vice President – Strategic Resources at State Farm. “During National Teen Driver Safety Week and year-round we invite everyone to join the national conversation aimed at preventing unnecessary injuries and loss of life.”

During the past 12 months, the five artists have collectively sold more than 9 million copies of their albums and more than 20 million individual downloads of their current singles.

Scheduled to be taped in Nashville, the celebration will feature star-studded performances from the honorees as well as celebrity peers from across the entertainment spectrum. The evening’s cuisine will be inspired by the artists of the year and prepared by celebrity chef Stephanie Izard, winner of TV’s Top Chef competition and chef/partner of Girl and the Goat restaurant in Chicago.

The 90-minute special will premier Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.
