Great job by Kenny Chesney, director Shaun Silva, and the rest of the crew that worked on the project!

Keep your afternoon free today! Kenny Chesney’s football documentary “The Boys of Fall” debuts today on ESPN at 2 pm ET.
Chesney’s journey took him to places like Hattiesburg, Miss., where he had barbecue at Brett Favre’s house, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Austin, Texas. He met with the giants of the game — Bill Parcells, Peyton Manning, Nick Saban, Bobby Bowden, John Madden — but also spent time filming peewee players in Nashville.
There were fun moments: “John Madden cooked what is the equivalent of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner together for us. He told me when I walked in there, ‘When it comes to cooking I can take Brett Favre to the woodshed.’”
But he also came away with experiences that had a larger impact on him than he could ever imagine.
“Listening to those guys talk about the heart of and the emotions and everything that goes into loving people and living life and trying to get the most out of it and how it all relates to football, it stops and makes you think and look at your own life,” Chesney said. “And sometimes I’m too busy. I don’t do that.”
After it airs, come back and tell us what you thought of it!

Multiple outlets are now reporting that the Gulf Coast concert with Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and others has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 11th.
Officials worried that winds and storm surge from Tropical Storm Alex could threaten the stability of the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama where the concert is to be held. The stage, which had been going up this week, is already being taken down.
Your tickets to the show will of course still be honored on July 11th. If you made reservations with a hotel or condo, call them to discuss your accomodations.

We already told you that Kenny Chesney will be on ESPN’s Mike & Mike show Friday morning, and it turns out that won’t be the only ESPN program he’ll appear on this weekend.
Look for Kenny on NFL Countdown on Sunday at 1 pm where he’ll talk about the game and his buddies Sean Payton and Peyton Manning.
“It’s not like I’m the definitive voice or anything,” Chesney says of the two stops on ESPN, “but I do think I represent the definitive football fan. Me and the guys watch these games, live and die over who’s playing who all season when we’re closing out the tour – and this is, obviously, the biggest game of the year. So I love that Golic and Greenberg want me on their show.”
“As for ‘NFL Countdown,’ well, that’s like doing the Grammys for football. That’s about the best analysis there is, and I’m looking forward to being part of their coverage.”
No Shoes Radio has been broadcasting from Miami, but Chesney has yet to make it to town. He’s been working feverishly to get “Summer in 3D” completed.
“You’d never believe how much work goes into something like this,” he laughs. “But once you’re in, you can’t just stop. So as much as I wanted to be down at the pool with Uncle Kracker, I’ve been in an edit bay, cutting film, changing shots – cause when the wheels go up tonight for Miami, I wanna be able to just forget about everything and enjoy some football!”
“I know this year’s Super Bowl is gonna be a great game. I’m not gonna bet on it, but I wouldn’t want to… and that’s half the fun of it! So I’m gonna get up early Friday, go hang with Mike & Mike and then have so much fun I’m gonna be ready to get back to work on the film on Monday!”

The ESPN duo Mike & Mike (Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg) revealed on Twitter tonight that Kenny Chesney will join them on set in Miami this Friday:

Chesney is a favorite of Mike & Mike. He joined them last April when the tour launched in Uncasville, CT (near ESPN’s headquarters).
So Kenny will be in Miami on Friday, but will he be in town before that for the Hooters Super Pool Party where No Shoes Radio will be broadcasting from Feb. 2nd-4th? Only time will tell.
