Watch the New “Wild Child” Music Video

USA Today has the premiere of Kenny Chesney’s latest music video for “Wild Child”:

In Kenny Chesney’s latest single, Wild Child, the country superstar sings of a woman “with a whole lotta gypsy wild style.” That’s the spirit captured in the song’s music video, directed by Shaun Silva and premiering here at USA TODAY.

Wild Child also reunites Chesney with singer Grace Potter, his partner on the 2011 hit You and Tequila. It’s the third single from Chesney’s The Big Revival, which already has yielded the No. 1 country hits American Kids and Til It’s Gone.

“To me, a girl who is so alive, so in the moment, so curious and hungry for life … there’s nothing like her,” says Chesney, who wrote Wild Child with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. “You can’t tie ‘em down. So free … and so intense because of it. Nothing is more attractive. To me, that makes women really stand out. Whether they want to live in the mountains, become a doctor, play music in Hawaii or surf around the world, whatever their passion is, that’s what drives them – and man, it’s an amazing thing.”

Watch Kenny Chesney Perform “Til It’s Gone” Live

Over at RollingStone.com you can watch an intimate performance of “Til It’s Gone” off the new album The Big Revival.

Those who couldn’t make it to the Georgia Theatre concert can still catch a glimpse of the show by checking out this live, unreleased clip of “‘Til It’s Gone,” making its premiere exclusively on Rolling Stone Country. Filmed toward the end of the night, it’s an intimate, no-frills performance, with Chesney and his seven-piece band playing their newest single on a stage that’s pretty much free of the lights, Jumbotrons and high-tech gadgets that’ve become staples of his 50,000-seat stadium shows.

Although he didn’t write the song — that role went to Rodney Clawson, David Lee Murphy and Jimmy Yeary — Chesney has a strong personal attachment to “‘Til It’s Gone,” a seize-the-day anthem about making the most of your time with a loved one. He also views it as a tribute to his own fan base, the “No Shoes Nation,” whose support helped send the album’s previous single, “American Kids,” to the top of the charts. (Clawson co-wrote that one, too.)

“This is a song about hanging on right where you are with someone you love,” Chesney says of “Til It’s Gone,” “be it a good buddy, a lover, or in my case, the No Shoes Nation, who’ve been here since it was me and a buncha guys in an old Silver Eagle tour bus. The idea is: be where you are, and embrace the hell out of it. When you do that, amazing things happen.”

More info from CountryMusicRocks

Shot during a break on Chesney’s 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour, “Spread the Love” is the antithesis of 19 NFL stadiums and 1.25 million fans. Instead of the centrifugal force of Chesney’s road life, the clip documents Chesney with Barrett, Alvin “Secco” Patterson and the rest of the Wailers Band, as well as capturing Hope House, Tuff Gong Studios and the myriad faces and places on the island.

“It was important to me to seek the heart of what those men represent,” Chesney says of the clip. “The tremendous love in the Wailers’ music, and hope against often unthinkable odds. In spite of the hardships, Bob Marley was always about hope… and love… and that is what makes this music endure. If this video can give people a glimpse of where it comes from, the things that is made of, then I think we’ve deepened what ‘Spread the Love’ is about, and reminded people of the amazing men who created these songs.”
