No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems

Lyrics

I’ve been up to my neck workin 6 days a week
Wearin holes in the soles of the shoes on my feet
Been dreamin’ of gettin away since I don’t know
Aint no better time than now for Mexico

No shoes, no shirt, no problems
Blues what blues, hey I forgot ‘em
The sun and the sand and a drink in my hand, with no bottom
And no shirt, no shirt, and no problems

No problems

Want a towel on a chair in the sand by the sea
Want to look thru my shades and see you there with me
Want to soak up life for a while
In laid back mode
No boss, no polite, no stress, no dress code

No shoes, no shirt, no problems
Blues what blues hey I forgot them
The sun and the sand and a drink in my hand with no bottom
And no shoes, no shirt, and no problems

Babe lets get packed..tank tops and flip flops if u got them
No shoes, no shirt, no problems
No problems

Kenny’s Note

There’s something to be said for useless days. You know, days when you have nothing to do and all day to do it. Those days, time just slips away – and those are my favorite kind of days. One of those days that I’ll never forget was New Year’s Day 2001 – 01-01-01. I was with some friends in the Caribbean on a boat called “Hey Now.” It’s one of those things where you had to be there to understand it, and for those of us who were in the front of that boat between Tortola and St. John, watching the sun fade away, we WILL never forget it. It’s one of the top five days of my life. So thanks again Bob!!! Trust me… a beach and a bottomless drink may not cure the world’s problems, but it can really get your head in the right place. Those are my favorite kind of days.
