Nominations for the 51st annual ACM Awards were announced this morning and Kenny Chesney was nominated for one award: Vocal Event of The Year.

The nomination is for “Wild Child” with Grace Potter. It’s actually considered two nominations, because Chesney is nominated as an artist and producer on the tune. Chesney last won this award in 2007 (presented in 2008) for “Find Out Who Your Friends Are” with Tracy Lawrence, and Tim McGraw.

Hosted by Dierks Bentley and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan, the ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 3rd at 8pm ET.
