Kenny Chesney took home the Top Package award at the 2015 Billboard Touring awards on Thursday night.
Chesney’s 2015 trek was declared the winner in the Top Package category, which also featured Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, among others, as nominees. The trophy is his eighth Billboard Touring Award, all in the Top Package category.
“We put a lot of thought into every year’s tour,” Chesney says in a press release. “It’s not just about bringing the music out to the No Shoes Nation … It’s about how to create an experience every year that stands out, that’s worth remembering, that gives people a chance to love life, love music and have fun.”
“One of the best things about these tours, especially the stadium shows, is taking out artists who’re starting to make an impact and exposing them to a lot of people. It’s like turning your friends onto all kinds of bands — like when you’re young and music and sports is all that matters,” Chesney continues. “… Turning people on to great music is one of the coolest things, and it makes putting these packages together something that’s more than just a formula or who’s hot.”
Chesney was also nominated in the Top Draw category at the 2015 Billboard Touring Awards — the win went to One Direction — while Church was nominated in the Breakthrough category.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days announced most of its 2016 lineup today and Kenny Chesney will headline on July 27th.
Kenny Chesney will be the headliner on July 27 for the Cheyenne Day concert. This will be his fourth time playing at Frontier Days; the last time he came through Cheyenne was in 2009.
“Kenny Chesney is kind of like Keith Urban was last year,” Fleming said. “Keith came out because he loves Cheyenne and he loves the people.
“(Chesney) likes to be here with the Cheyenne crowd, and it’s fun for him. He can be himself, and he can walk around with people. He’s just another one of the guys.”

Here’s to two rocking nights with some of my dearest friends in one of my favorite places in the world.”

As expected, Kenny Chesney will return to Gillette Stadium next summer as part of his Spread The Love Tour. The show with Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt, and Old Dominion will take place on August 26th.
“We have had so many special nights at Gillette,” Chesney says in a press release. “Every single one has been its own set of memories … and when we go back this year, I want to know we are going to have the night that tops all the ones that have come before. The people in and around Boston are amazing, and I want to live up to all the energy they give us.
“Even before we started playing stadiums in 2005, Boston was special,” he continues. “They really listen to the songs … They really rock hard when you put it out there … Those are some kind of fans, and when we get there, I know it’s going to be the kind of night worth waiting all summer for.”
Ticket information will be available soon.

If you watched the CMA Awards last night, you may have seen Kenny Chesney not only during the show, but also during a commercial break:
Apple ran a new, minute-long Apple Music commercial during last night’s Country Music Association Awards, featuring hit country music singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney.
In the ad – filmed this summer at his concert at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro MA, home of the super bowl champions New England Patriots – Chesney focuses on the human curation offered by Apple Music.
We need a place where music is treated with real reverence and respect, a place that’s got a human element, a human touch […] great songs recommended to me by people who live it …

Kenny Chesney has added another stadium show to his 2016 Spread The Love Tour.
Chesney, along with Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt, and Old Dominion, will perform at Louisville, Kentucky’s Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on May 28th.
You don’t wanna overdo the stadium thing to where it’s not special,” Chesney said in a press release. “But being outside in Louisville is one of those places where the music hits the night, and it’s not the same as being inside. As we’re looking at the routings and our history, I’m really glad we’re gonna be playing Cardinal Stadium ‘cause as great as the Yum! Center was, I think we’re gonna top that show!”
No word yet on when tickets will go on sale.
