Pollstar is out with their annual list of the top worldwide tours and Kenny Chesney found himself in the top 20.
2013 was a record year for the global concert industry. Combined, The Top 20 Worldwide Tours took in $2.43 billion in primary ticket sales, a huge $470.6 million or 24 percent increase over the $1.96 billion generated in 2012.
More artists saw fat pay days in 2012. During the year there were 13 tours that grossed over $100 million, compared with only six tours hitting that monetary benchmark last year.
Kenny Chesney came in at #15, grossing $90.9 million. Only one country artist placed above Chesney: Taylor Swift at #8 with $131 million.
Bon Jovi topped the list with $259.5 million, followed by Beyonce with $188.6 million, and Pink at $170.6 million.
