Fresh off his 24th number one single, “Come Over,” Kenny Chesney is poised to release his next song from Welcome to the Fishbowl in a couple weeks.

Beginning the week of September 10th, “El Cerrito Place” will hit the radio waves.

What do you think about the choice for Kenny’s next single? Do you think it will earn Kenny his 25th number one?

I love, love, love this song. I think this is a great choice. I have love this song from the first time Kenny sang this. It is a remake but he sings it like it was custom made just for him.

Not my favorite, would have thought ‘sing em good my friend’ a better choose.
That would have been a #1 for sure, his good stuff.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! The title track, Welcome to the Fishbowl is the best song on the CD! GEEZ. Bad choice and will not go over well with the public in general. Love KC but he is not GS which can sing the phonebook and go #1.

I really like this song. If you don’t know already, Charlie Robison (former husband of Emily Robison from Dixie Chicks) recorded this song for his 2004 record ‘Good Times’, and Natalie Maines (also from Dixie Chicks) did the background vocals. This is where I first fell in love with this song.
I hope that it does do well on radio for Kenny!

I don’t dare leave my real opinion of this song here, because I’d get harassed by KC’s fans….so just read my mind.

Oh my God! Kenny does such a good job with this song.
Kenny doesn’t make a bad song, but his version is the best out of the three that has been done.
