Registration has opened for The Barefoot Islands Cruise which will sail March 16-23, 2013 to the islands you’ve heard in songs by Chesney, Buffett, and others- Anguilla, St. Barts, Tortola, Nevis, Virgin Gorda. One of the highlights for Chesney fans will be a full day and night anchored at Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. As you probably know, “JVD” is the incredible location where many Chesney videos were shot. Hangout all day on the white sand beach and in the clear blue water you’ve seen in the videos- Ivan’s Stress Free Bar, The Soggy Dollar, and One Love Bar- no shirt, no shoes, no problem!

Plenty of live music onboard and ashore! Enjoy performances throughout the week from a special ensemble island rock musicians featuring Scott Nickerson, founder of Parrot Heads in Paradise, as well as special sessions with well known local musicians.
The cruise is a full charter of the luxury ship Wind Surf of Windstar Cruises. With a capacity of only 312 passengers it will be a great way to get together with friends without the hassle and crowds of a large ship with 2,500 passengers or more. The casual atmosphere includes open seated dining (no reservations or seating assignments) with options to dine outside on-deck. Windstar Cruises, voted Condé Nast Traveler “Top Small-Ship Cruise Line”, continues to provide top-of-the-line service and amenities as a fleet wide $18 million refurbishment will be completed prior to the March 16-23, 2013 cruise.

Rates begin at $1,899pp with items such as onboard watersports, ground transportation, and soft beverages (bottled water, sodas, coffees, espressos, smoothies, etc.) included. Register before March 23, 2012 and save $200. Additional discounts if you refer friends.

Our custom itinerary will make this a unique sail through some beautiful small islands and harbors normally only visited by smaller yachts. A perfect opportunity to sit back with a boat drink and good friends. Presented by Local Knowledge. See website for details:

Kenny Chesney and Costa sunglasses presented a check for $50,000 recently to benefit the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) whose purpose is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources. The funds were raised through sales of Kenny’s limited edition line of Costa sunglasses during his 2011 “Goin’ Coastal” tour.

Chesney partnered with Costa in 2011 to design his first line of signature sunglasses and the sunglasses were sold at each stop of Chesney’s tour.

“The relationship with Costa, and what they stand for, goes hand in hand with the music that I make,” said Chesney. “It’s important for all generations to be able to enjoy the ocean like I did, and I’m proud to partner with Costa to design a line of signature sunglasses that will help support ocean conservation.”
