Kenny Chesney made a brief appearance on Good Morning America this morning (watch below) but he did not make any announcements as No Shoes Radio suggested he would.

Chesney discussed the ABC special with Robin Roberts (airs tonight at 9pm CT), the CMA Awards and his performance of “You and Tequila” with Grace Potter.

There was no discussion of his 2012 tour that in the last couple days has been rumored to be a co-headlining bill with Tim McGraw.

No Shoes Radio reports that Kenny Chesney will appear Tuesday at the Bridgestone Arena plaza in downtown Nashville for “Good Morning America.” Brad Paisley will perform during the broadcast.

Update – No Shoes Radio first reported that Kenny would perform, but tonight issued this correction:

UPDATE on the Tuesday morning GMA broadcast — Brad Paisley will be performing in concert, but KC will be there making a very special appearance (you’ll find out why on the show!). Just passing along that KC won’t actually be performing, but good times for sure!

Chesney is nominated for three CMA awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. He’ll also perform “You and Tequila” with Grace Potter. Be sure to tune in!

The 2011 Billboard Touring Awards will honor the concert industry’s top artists, venues and professionals, and Kenny Chesney is nominated for one of the night’s top award: Top Package.

Chesney faces stiff competition from Taylor Swift’s tour that featured Needtobreathe, Danny Gokey, Frankie Ballard, and others. The Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker, and Billy Currington were part of Chesney’s 2011 Goin’ Coastal Tour.

The 2011 Billboard Touring Awards will take place November 10th in New York City.
