After slowing things down with “You and Tequila,” Kenny Chesney will power it up again with the release of his next single – “Reality”.

The single, written by Chesney and Brett James, should hit country radio next week. Meanwhile, “You and Tequila” sits at #3 on the Billboard Top Country Songs chart.

What do you think of this choice for the next single?

Hemingway’s Whiskey for me, is the best album since Be As You Are.  That CD still sits in the #1 spot in my truck radio and another copy (another original copy that is) stays in my home system as well.  It speaks me to say the least.  Now, Hemingway’s Whiskey has become my 2nd fav.  You can tell Kenny has found some new peace within himself.  I hope to grow old with your music Kenny…I am a 68 baby as well!

Reality is my favorite fast song on Hemingway’s Whisky and Seven Days is my favorite slow song.

It’s not the worse song on the the album, but not the best. Seven Days would have been waaaay better. Reality almost sounds formulamatic to me; lacking the depth of songs like Never wanted Nothing More, When the Sun Goes Down, Summertime, Beer in Mexico, and Living in Fastforward, etc.
