Fresh off another number one hit, Kenny Chesney’s latest single “Live A Little” is the most added song at country radio for the second straight week. And in only the third week on the Billboard chart, the single is at #29, up nine from #38 last week.
“I think ‘Live A Little’ defines me a lot,” says Chesney. “Everybody that knows me knows I’m a very focused guy, I keep my eye on the ball, I work really hard, and I’m hands on a lot of times to a fault. But you do at some point have to set it down no matter what you do, and I’m still learning that even now.”
“This song will be in our show forever, it’s going to be a staple. I’m going to keep reminding people through music that you’ve got to love life, and you’ve got to live it, and you can’t work all the time. And the tempo and the edginess of this song reflects our show to a tee.”
Coming in at number one this week is Blake Shelton with “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking.”

Kenny Chesney’s latest sports documentary “The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story,” premieres tonight on ESPN at 8 pm ET.
“The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story” is Kenny’s second documentary. This one focuses on Holloway, the first African-American to start at quarterback for a Southeastern Conference (SEC) school.
“Condredge has meant so much to so many and is a very important figure in my life and to the history of cllege football. I’m excited, with the help of Shaun Silva, to tell his story, to show his journey, and to help show the world just how influential he was to how the game is played today and how many doors he opened for so many athletes that have followed in his footsteps.”
The sixth annual ForEverglades Foundation Benefit was held Friday night at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Kenny Chesney was the featured guest, but Jimmy Buffett made an appearance too:
On Wednesday night in Knoxville, Kenny Chesney, Shaun Silva, and Condredge Holloway were on hand to premeire their new documentary “The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story.”
Also, E! has a look at the documentary, including Kenny and Condredge throwing the football around:
Chesney said the best moment was casually tossing a football with Holloway on the field of Neyland Stadium:
“That was the highlight of my year, man, I was so excited. It was unbelievable. … I’m so thankful to ESPN and I’m glad that they’re going to tell his story. I love him and I’m just really glad that the guy I used to watch wear the No. 7 jersey turned out to be such a great guy and is somebody who you’re glad to call your hero.”
Kenny Chesney appeared with Condredge Holloway on ESPN’s SportsCenter today to promote his new documentary “The Color Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story”:
