In an interview with The Boot, singer/songwriter Lee Brice suggests that Kenny Chesney will release “Seven Days” as his next single. Brice is one of the three writers of the song.
“It’s on Chesney’s new record and he’s about to put it out on the radio,” Lee tells The Boot. “It is really exciting. If he doesn’t put it on the radio, though, I’ll put it on my next record!”
Back in October, Kenny shot scenes for the music video for “Seven Days” in Maine. They wanted to capture the fall colors that were in full mode.
However, at the time Tacklebox Films, who does Kenny’s video work, said that the video wouldn’t be out until fall 2011. So we’ll just have to wait and see.
Do you think “Seven Days” would give Kenny his 22nd number one?
As we told you a couple weeks ago, Kenny Chesney has produced a second sports documentary… this one on University of Tennessee quarterback Condredge Holloway, the first African-American quarterback to start in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

After the first Gillette Stadium sold out in 8 minutes, Kenny Chesney has added another show at the home of the Patriots the very next day.
His sixth overall sellout at the venue and a record for any artist in any genre at the Foxboro, MA stadium, Kenny Chesney is adding a second Gillette Stadium date on August 28 due to fan demand. Tickets for the new Gillette Stadium date, one of eleven stadium dates on what will be one of the biggest tours of the year, go on sale Saturday, February 5. The August 28 Gillette Stadium show will close out the massive tour.
“The last show of every year has always been special,” says Chesney. “A unique shared moment and connection with the fans celebrating a summer full of music. I can’t think of a better place than playing two nights at Gillette stadium to close this years tour!! I really missed playing Foxboro last summer and I can’t wait to reconnect with everyone in New England!!”
The show will star Chesney, the four-time CMA and four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, and Zac Brown Band, GRAMMY’s “Best New Artist” in 2010 whose latest album ‘You Get What You Give’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with special guests Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker.

Kenny Chesney was Lon Helton’s guest this week on Country Countdown USA. They have some interesting conversations covering a wide range of topics.
Perhaps the most interesting was a story he told about Taylor Swift. The first year he was sponsored by Corona was a year that Taylor was supposed to tour with him. But the legal people decided that a 17 or 18 year old shouldn’t be on a tour that was sponsored by an alcohol company. So Kenny had to call Taylor and tell her that she couldn’t be on the tour, and to make it up to her he gave her “a lot of money”. The next year Taylor wins Entertainer of the Year and as she was celebrating backstage Kenny gave her a hug and said “I want my money back.” Listen to this clip here.
Lon and Kenny also discuss how he spent Christmas, the day that Kenny and Uncle Kracker recorded “When The Sun Goes Down,” and this year’s tour, among a few other things.
Fan Club presales will begin this week for two more Kenny Chesney shows:
St. Paul, MN
Xcel Energy Center
Friday, March 25th
Omaha, NE
Qwest Center
Saturday, March 26th
Presale will begin for both shows on Tuesday, January 25th at Noon CT.
The KCOFC, Kenny’s Official Fan Club, is the place to get presale tickets before they go on sale to the general public. As an additional exclusive offer, members will now have the opportunity to purchase sand bar tickets (standing room only pits that are actually inside the stage) for Kenny’s stadium and arena shows on this year’s tour. These exclusive tickets are limited in quantity so you will need to get in early to the presales to purchase them.
Members who purchase through the Fan Club presales also will have a chance to be upgraded to the sand bar when purchasing any non-sand bar tickets. Members must sign up for the upgrade here to be entered. You will not be automatically entered as with previous sand bar upgrades. If chosen, your tickets will then be upgraded so be sure that you are willing to forfeit your purchased tickets when entering. For more information on current upgrade policies and to sign up, click here. Shows with upgrades will be posted after the presale has started so check back often.
