“Somewhere With You” to be Next Single

According to AOL, Kenny Chesney’s next single off of Hemingway’s Whiskey will be the unique and quick ballad “Somewhere With You”:

“This song killed me when I heard it,” Chesney told Billboard. “You’re not necessarily in another relationship, but you’re with somebody else, just starting something with somebody else. Trying to balance both those worlds [old relationship and new] is tough. I’ve done it a lot, where you’re with somebody and you’re thinking this isn’t necessarily bad, but wow, man it would be really great to be with you. That can be a lot of mental baggage.”

Kenny’s current single, “The Boys of Fall”, spent two weeks at number one. Can “Somewhere With You” make it two number ones in a row?

I think “Somewhere with You” can make it to number one. I relate to that song and from what Kenny says he does too. I wish him luck with this song and I hope you do it Kenny. See u this summer!

And we can’t forget what an awesome job Melonie Cannon did on the background vocals for this song!!!!! I’m glad he’s releasing this song as a single since Melonie has a new song with Willie Nelson!!!!

Wonderful song and am sure it will be #1. Good choice to have it as the next single…..but I am waiting on “Seven Days” next year (and the video too).
