It’s been 14 years since Kenny Chesney’s first number one hit (“When I Close My Eyes”), and this week “The Boys of Fall” becomes his 20th number one.

Kenny said: “I was on a photo shoot in Puerto Rico when I had my first #1 record with ‘When I Close My Eyes.’ When I heard today that ‘The Boys of Fall’ became my 20th #1, it made me very happy to know the feeling is the same.”

Congrats Kenny!

I didn’t think this song was going to make it to #1. Good for him though. KC has a powerful following!
