Chesney Back in the Recording Studio

Kenny Chesney’s has put the finishing touches on “Summer in 3D” and has headed back to the recording studio to work on his new album that will be out in the fall:

“It felt so good to be back in the studio,” says Chesney. “I mean, being in the studio is always such an awesome experience… because I came to town to write songs and maybe get to sing ‘em. But when you’re in the studio and you’re bringing them to life, creating the way they’re going to be heard, that’s just such a creative time – and I am blessed to work some of the very best musicians in not just Nashville, but honestly the world.”

“There are so many great songs out there, it’s hard to decide what you want to do… cause you know you’re leaving some amazing stuff on the table,” explains Kenny. “The biggest challenge is trying to decide which songs take you new places without losing site of where you’ve been, to find those moments that say something about who you are – and how your fans are living life without repeating, but also not just different for the sake of different.

“I’m lucky, because not only do I write all the time, but people pitch me songs all the time, too. I get the best of all worlds, and I’m spoiled in the music that I get to hear…”

“The thing about my schedule,” Chesney says. “It’s meant it’s been a while since the fans had new music they can put their hands on. This was the best way to get them something fresh while taking our time and enjoying making this record. If they like it half as much as we have so far, I know this next record is something they’re gonna really love.”

I have bought a CD 2 weeks ago at Wal-Mart’s that is called Kenny Chesney Ain’t Back Yet for 1.88 and it has only 2 songs on this CD Ain’t Back Yet,And This Is Our Moment.I knew nothing about this CD coming out to be sold by Kenny Chesney or the date this CD was released, but i bought this CD anyway and i wanted to hear these 2 new songs from Kenny Chesney.These songs are awesome.Now that Kenny Chesney is back in the Recording Studio working on another CD for it to be released in the Fall,I am going to buy this on CD as well.This is going to be awesome!

It would be really exciting to hear all the cuts and let the fans choose what goes on the CD! How incredible would it be to have that voting power….However, Kenny does a great job choosing for me.

I can’t wait for the new CD! Although I wonder when he will take time for himself – it was one of the reasons he didn’t want to tour this year, to find time to relax and recharge his batteries. So far, not a chance – hopefully it won’t end in a burn-out-syndrome!

I would think that since the 3D will be out April 21, his time in the studio will probably be done same time or early May, that he will have the summer and fall to recharge.
He only has 10 shows on the books for the Summer.
I think he will get the time to feed his soul and recharge.

glad you r back in the studio need 2 hear something new from u since i cant go c u live cant afford the tickets but i do buy every cd of yours get get enough of u.glad summertime is just around the corner llive in fl so at least there are plenty of things to do. would love to disappear down somewhere and just be myself and rediscover who i am long time since i had peace of mind. i need it before i go insane. lol to kc remember to stop and smell the flowers so to speak.
