Though Kenny Chesney is taking a year off from major touring, he’s still playing a few festivals and other dates, the first of which is tonight at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

The Rodeo is a two and a half week long showcase of the biggest names in country music. Alan Jackson opened on Tuesday and Dierks Bentley played last night. In the next two weeks there will be performances by Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Gary Allan, and Brooks & Dunn.
