No Shoes Radio went live again from the Hooters Super Pool Party in Miami, site of Sunday’s NFL Super Bowl.

Among the great music and dialogue, NSR played Kenny Chesney’s new single “Ain’t Back Yet” again and revealed that it would be included on an upcoming reissue of Greatest Hits II. The DJ’s also said that Kenny is in the studio working on the new album and that it will be out in the summer or fall.

Don’t forget to tune in to No Shoes Radio tonight to hear Uncle Kracker live! And who knows, maybe Kenny will show up too. You’ve got to tune in to find out!

  1. I am confused!!
First Kenny is releasing a new CD in the fall in which the new single ‘ ain’t back yet’ was going to be on. I thought it strange to release a single that far in advance, 6 months seems a long time before the album release
NOW he is REreleasing his greatest hits JUST to put ‘ain’t back yet’ on it???
Then releasing his new studio CD in the summer OR the fall?

Is the record label putting some pressure on him?
I have heard of artists REreleasing their last CD when they have a few songs they want to releases but NOT a new album in the works……..just seems so odd

  2. He was supposed to have a new CD in April.

  3. Ann,
He scrapped that CD, he told Lon Helton that on the countdown in November.
It did not fit the vibe he wanted. All he said was he had 5 songs ready and the CD would come out in later 2010.
The fall makes sense. What is odd is why a RErelease of a greatest hits and then a new CD.
When is the greatest hits getting REreleased?
