Though Kenny Chesney is taking a year off from major touring next year, you can still expect him to do a few shows here and there.
According to GAC, he’ll continue his role in the Hard Rock Café’s international Ambassadors of Rock series. His recent show in New York City was part of this special tour.
“And I hope people understand, I’ve never been an all or nothing kind of guy,” he stated. “This doesn’t mean there will be no shows or no music. It means I’m not going to be staging a major tour – I’m not going to take two weeks off and be meeting with people to build a stage, to start thinking about how we can do the lights different and what the video’s gonna be.”
And memphistiger on our forum attended the Indy show and was told by Kenny’s road manager David Farmer at the No Shoes Radio party at Hooters to expect 10-12 shows next year. He said you’ll definitely be able to still see Kenny but may have to travel a greater distance to see him.
