Kenny Chesney Tailgate Documentary to be Filmed at Gillette

posted by Josh

Friday morning at 8:00 am 100 fans will arrive at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts to take part in the filming of tailgating scenes for an upcoming DVD release, which we assume is the previously mentioned 3D concert movie. At one point in the e-mail to those chosen to participate in the filming it is referred to as “KC3D Opening Title Sequence”.

The filming will take place at the Gillette Stadium parking lot. 60 women and 40 men were chosen and have been instructed to dress up and bring everything they normally would for tailgating. Then in the afternoon 30 fans will be chosen out of the 100 to be extras in a bar scene.

If you are one of the fans participating in this filming, please share the experience with us by leaving a comment or posting on our forum.

I will be at Gillette tomorrow! It’s so exciting that our stadium was chosen to be a part of the tailgating film! With 60,000+ hardcore Chesney fans in one parking lot, there really isn’t anything like it! New England may not be know for country music, but when Kenny’s in town, we come out with our boots on and our tailgating can rival the best of them!

it was awesome. they interviewed fans about what they love about kenny. they had paid actors to be the “Stars” of the show which may be a negative. But for the most part it seemed realistic to the tailgating and the bar scene was fun. it was at Bleecher Bar and they had paid talent there as well but all of the interviews were real fans sharing what they loved. it went from 8am-7pm, they gave us tshirts, lunch, random sandbar tickets to a few people. Corona for everyone. and then the next day at the concert they filmed live performances with, and had paid talent in the audience to continue the storyline. Shaun Silva was wicked nice to everyone and it was great to see the behind the scene of a Chesney video. My friends and I were in a lot of the filming so it will be exciting to see the final product!!
