Today marks a first for Kenny Chesney: he’ll take the Sun City Carnival Tour to Edmonton, AB in Canada for a performance at Commonwealth Stadium. It’s his first show ever in Canada.

Chesney will stay above the border for the weekend as he plays the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary on Friday night and finishes out the Canadian tour leg at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival in Merritt, Bristish Columbia on Saturday. Kenny will stay in the region on Tuesday night with a show at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho.
