3D Concert DVD in the Works?
posted by Josh
A video posted on YouTube of Sugarland performing at the June 27th Kenny Chesney show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia has the description “This concert was being taped for the Kenny Chesney 3D Concert DVD”.
We asked the video uploader if she had any more details and she said that Kenny mentioned during the show that it was being recorded. She then e-mailed her local radio station (they were at the show too) the next day and they told her that the show was being taped for a Kenny Chesney 3D Concert DVD.
Anyone else hear anything at the show or have any more details? E-mail us or leave a comment.
(thanks to Kaitlynn for the info)

I don’t know anything about the Philly show, but when we were in Ohio at Crew Field there were signs everywhere saying “by entering these gates you agree to be filmed for HBO and are giving permission to HBO and anyone affiliated to use the video footage.” Does anyone know if HBO is going to be having a Chesney Concert special? I have been searching the net and have yet to find anything out. Please post if you have any info at all.
Thanks Mistie
I was at the show in Philly and there were signs everywhere that the show was being filmed. Kenny never mentioned that it was being filmed though, but again their where signs everywhere saying that it was. That would be awesome if Kenny put out a concert DVD. I’m already in withdrawal and wishing it was next summer already for his next concert. I also know that Sugarland is having some concert special in August, so i thought maybe the taping had to do with that as well.
cant wait for it
There were signs everywhere as you entered the Philly show, that basically stated that the entire concert was being filmed, and that that by entering you were giving consent to be filmed without compensation.I asked several people that worked at LFF, and they didn’t know what it was for…but boy, would I LOVE a DVD of that show!!!
